Characteristics of IT-room in government

Since government system consists of many institutions such as taxation, public security and etc. that are scattered geographically, high reliability is required. Generally, system of government can be divided into 3-6 levels regarding to scale from headquarters to the terminal. Headquarters and provincial data centers are for data exchange and backup; provincial data centers are for business support and data exchange; data centers in cities, business units and terminals are front-ends of operation system. The network systems cover large, medium and small data centers, thus highly reliable network power solutions suited to large, medium and small data centers are applied in this complex government network system.

Requirement of IT-rooms in government：

The e-government systems, transferring large amounts of confidential data every day, is of highest efficiency in government informationalized systems. In order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of information network systems, two ways of utility or one way utility one way generator is needed.

The critical loads require UPS to supply power, load with critical data need UPS with at least capacity of 50kVA and two hours standby time; UPS should have dynamic data remote monitoring capability. 

UPS should have function of EPO, which can prevent more serious losses in an emergency.

Modular redundant design should be adopted. Each module is an independent UPS to easy subsequent expansion of power supply system.

Requests the UPS to the load equipment to provide uninterrupted clean energy, we must also take into account the efficient use of energy on the grid; reduce and suppress harmonic pollution and provide a good atmosphere for the reliable operation of the critical load. Play a leading role in terms of energy saving and environmental protection.

Because of the limited space for installation of UPS and battery, equipment manufacturers are required to improve the space utilization of equipment to achieve the full use of limited space resources. Meanwhile, load-bearing of server room should be taken into account to avoid damage to the structure of the floor.
