Since allowed momentary power interruption time of vast majority of IT equipments now such as servers, routers, switches, gateways, disk arrays and communications equipment, etc. is only about 0.01 to 0.02 seconds, which means that for critical communications, more than 0.02 seconds’ power supply interruption will cause “network paralysis”. Once this situation happens, resuming the network to normal operation will take tens of minutes to even a few hours. Clearly, users will suffer huge economic losses. For these reasons, we must consider to eliminate potential faults in output of UPS power supply system to ensure continuity of power supply to critical IT loads.

Remote AC Mode:
Suited to the situation that RRU from servers room within 1500 meters, adopts an inverter (invert 48V power to AC 220V to achieve smooth power supply). Compared with the remote CD, remote AC can reduce losses in power transmission greatly.
